Grant writing is a very technical process. You have to do a lot of research in order to prepare for a grant and it takes a lot of work to successfully receive a grant.

There are people that make a living writing grants because that's what they are trained to do. For the average person like you or me to think we could just ask for this money and have it handed to us is making a pretty big assumption. And if you do happen to get a grant, in all likelihood, you will need to match it with your own funds. There is a lot of follow up paperwork and accounting. You�ll have to justify every penny you spend out of that grant. Information about grants is a constantly changing scenario as well. It takes time to track the grant down, write it, and wait for the application to be approved (or not). Reports on various forums show that the first page of this product admits it contains dated material. It sure doesn't say that on the website.
