Pros and Cons -   Having been around the internet block for 9 years now I can remember back when all domains had to be registered with Network Solutions at $75 shot. Once other registrars entered the market we all had a much better chance, but if you were busy and didn't keep an eye on your domains Network Solutions could hold you and gouge you as they didn't send out notices with enough time lee way to switch to a more reasonably priced host. GoDaddy on the other hand gives you dirt-cheap pricing, an auto-renewal option, and a three month expiration notice. Plenty of time and great pricing - two things every online entrepreneur needs more of! I've heard the horror stories about GoDaddy but in the last 6 years I've never had a problem with them. On the contrary I once had a problem with another site hi-jacking my content and GoDaddy went to bat for me, had the other site reported and shut down, and a representative even phoned me at home to make sure I was satisfied with their assistance - didn't cost me a penny more than simply registering my domains with them. Makes me wonder if the horror stories are heresay or sabotage...

Recommended?   Yes, with the problems of reliable and affordable web hosting this co. seems to be the cure for it. But like with all programs or services it is allways a good idea to do your homework and test them for yourself and see. Allways ask for free trials and read the terms!
