Pros and Cons - Backpage.com is a website similar to Craigslist. One is allowed to post ads in certain categories at no cost. The response, I've seen from Backpage is very little. I did not generate even half of the response I generated with Craigslist. It could be that they don't get as much traffic as Craigslist does. I posted three ads on Backpage about 4 months ago, but I've only received four responses. I do believe, however, that Backpage is a relatively new site. Once more people find out about the website and start posting there more often, it can potentially be a great way to generate free traffic.
Recommended? If you are willing to give Backpage.com a shot, go for it. Posting ads is free and takes just minutes to post.
